We’ve had a complete refurbishment cover to cover with luxury carpets, Emma Shipley fabrics and the use of Farrow and Ball colours evoking contemporary boutique design that incorporates the Gregorian Grade Two listed architectural. The renovated bedrooms are all named after famous Novels and the renovated bathrooms offer rain showers heads with a further adjustable head with three settings. Sleep like Sleeping Beauty in our Royal appointed HYPNOS beds.
The outlook from the library and front facing sea view bedrooms are amazing showing the award winning Blue Flag Beach in all its glory that is comparable to any Beach in the world. Our City view bedrooms are phenomenal for watching life and people.
No Hen, Stag, Sporting, Wedding, Engagement or Group Parties taken of any sizes
No Food deliveries or take aways are permitted in the rooms at Chapter One
Children - We do not take children under the age of 8
No pets at all are accepted at Chapter One
Check In Time is before 18.30pm and arrival after this time is charged at £30.00 per hour if not arranged in advanced with the hotel
Unfortunately, No Inflatables of any kind are permitted in the hotel

Located on the corner of The Esplanade, ST. Thomas Street and Westham Road between Londis and Nantes Solicitors. Our door is open and adorned by two spiral cedar trees, 1 Large Chapter 1 sign, 1 small Chapter 1 sign and the Union Jack Flag is flying. We are, Chapter 1, Number 68 The Esplanade, on the Beach Front, Weymouth, DT4 7AA.
Chapter 1 is right on the Famous Beachfront of Weymouth and has no onsite car parking.
There is a loading bay on Westham Road opposite Londis where you can park and drop your luggage and receive personal car parking directions.
Our recommendations which are a short walk from Chapter 1 (about 6 minutes) are the Railway Station Car Park and The Royal Yard Car Park which are the closest to Chapter 1. The below link will show directions and information on these and other car parks in Weymouth.
Where did Chapter 1 come from
The simple answer is from my own mind - I know scarrrry !
Chapter 1 genuinely wants to be part of your story (holiday, occasion, necessity) whilst choosing and staying with us at Chapter 1. Our DNA was designed to have the best super comfy beds, amazing showers, fab Italian Breakfast, unique product and furnishing.
However the core of our DNA is what makes us unique - It is simply ALL ABOUT YOU - You are the MAIN CHARACTER of Your Story whilst at Chapter 1.
If anything is not right whilst staying at Chapter 1 please tell me and I will do all in my power to ensure Your Story is a happy one. This also applies to your pre and post involvement with Chapter 1.
